Rationing

Rationing is defined as the temporarily or permanent deny of necessary medical care due to limited resources. Explicite Rationing occur according to rules and criteria defined above the physician-patient relationship. In contrast, decisions of the physician or another instance in individual cases and without certain specifications are defined as implicit rationing.
